The Enviroserv Chloorkop Landfill site has been used for the disposal of municipal solid waste since 1997, receiving approximately 1 500 tons of waste per day (approximately 396 000 tons per annum). The objective of the project is to start landfill extraction at the site and destruct the landfill gas.
