Vanuatu Carbon Credit Project and the UNFCCC
Robert O’Sullivan represented Vanuatu as its technical advisor in the UNFCCC Workshop on reducing emissions from deforestation in developing countries 7-9 March 2007 in Cairns, Australia.
Robert O’Sullivan, together with Sean Weaver from the Victoria University of Wellington gave a presentation at the workshop on the Vanuatu Carbon Credit Project. The presentation can be downloaded here, and a summary of Vanuatu’s participation in the workshop is available here.
Vanuatu’s submission to the workshop, that is part of the ongoing Vanuatu Carbon Credit Project, was prepared by Robert O’Sullivan, Sean Weaver, and Murray Ward on behalf of Vanuatu and can be downloaded here.
Vanuatu’s presence at Cairns was reported in the Vanuatu Daily Post on 13 March, and the project has also featured in New Zealand’s Dominion Post on 7 March.
