Projects : Analysis of the vulnerability of hydroelectric systems to climate change and adaptation options

The consortium of Inclam, Fundación Bariloche and Climate Focus are developing the project "Analysis of the vulnerability of hydroelectric systems to climate change and adaptation options.” The project is being realized for the Latin American Energy Organization (OLADE) and is an innovative type of project that focuses on identifying and proposing strategies for the adaptation of  hydroelectric systems in Central America to the effects of climate change in the region. The team of consultants will elaborate a series of criteria, guidelines and tools for adequate decision making for the investment in measures that optimize the operation of hydroelectric systems under various future climate scenarios.
