“The Various Levels of REDD” summarizes findings from a September 23rd, 2008 workshop covering topics regarding the architecture of Reduced Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation. Avoided Deforestation Partners convened the small group of experts in forest policy, environmental markets, rural development, conservation, governance and international climate negotiations to discuss issues around designing successful market based REDD mechanisms. Themes covered include financial flows, national and sub-national crediting and implementation approaches, and local involvement and benefit sharing.
