Felipe Orjuela García
Felipe Orjuela García is an economist by training who works on sustainable business development and climate and land use policy at Climate Focus.
He previously worked at Compartamos con Colombia (CCC), where he developed and strengthened 55 initiatives targeting vulnerable population groups in Colombia in partnership with bilateral and multilateral international aid organizations, focusing on commodities like cocoa, coffee, cattle, wood production, as well as plastic residue management. Additionally, Felipe designed the sustainability strategies for six leading private companies in Colombia and developed guidelines and a self-diagnosis tool on sustainability and social/environmental innovation for the Colombian National Industrial Association. Previously, as a member of the finance department at Procter & Gamble, Felipe supported financial planning and strategic revenue management processes through the development and implementation of planning, monitoring and evaluation tools.
Felipe holds a degree from Universidad de los Andes (B.Sc Economics, minor in Philosophy) and a Master of Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin.
